Dr. Christina Howes lectures in C20th literature and History and Culture of the British Isles in the UAB and the UIC and conducts research into ‘post-post-Modernist’ literature through the framework of eco-criticism and Heideggerian-based philosophies.

This talk will examine motivational aspects of researching and writing a PhD thesis, the personal processes behind conducting research and finding the hypotheses as well as the importance of interdisciplinary research to literary criticism.

If you would like a copy of Dr Howes’ presentation, please contact Dr Pividori or Dr Howes.
