Another Editorial by Nature, would the stakeholders read this?

Posted in General by Maria Eugenia Suarez Ojeda |
They should do it!!! If we want a future, we need investment in I+D+i.

Half way there

Nature,  480 (2011), pp. 5

Spain, Italy and Greece all have new governments and new research laws. Despite the pressures of economic austerity, investing in science now could bring disproportionate benefits.

No turning back

Spain should not use the recession as an excuse to stall plans to boost its scientific enterprise.

LA CIENCIA EN ESPAÑA NO NECESITA TIJERAS…

Posted in General by Maria Eugenia Suarez Ojeda |

The science in Spain does not need any cut!

The Spanish’s Government says: “we have a wonderful R+D system with the finest researchers, just come to see the number of publications we are producing”, but the current situation of many of us is to suffer everyday the shortage of technical and administrative personal (having tons of financial reports and administrative paperwork to do!), the impossibility of stabilise new researchers (recent doctors) and new personal and so on. Say “NO” to the cut in R+D funds from the Spanish Government.
